Board of Directors of Gold-Eagle Cooperative Announce Merger Study with Farmers Coop Association (FCA) of Forest City

The Board of Directors of Gold-Eagle Cooperative would like to announce a merger study with Farmers Coop Association (FCA) of Forest City. The study will provide a comprehensive overview of both companies and the potential value for each membership if unification were to occur.

Over the last six months, the FCA board has been planning for the upcoming retirement of their General Manager, Randy Broesder. After considering all their options, they have determined that the best path forward for their membership and team of employees would be to join Gold-Eagle Cooperative.

The management teams from both companies, as well as the Boards of Directors, will continue to meet over the next several weeks. Please know that any decision regarding unification will be made in the best interest of both memberships and employee teams.

We look forward to working together and sharing more information as it becomes available.
